  • Do I need a designer or architect?

    There are many areas of design that don’t require the cost of hiring an architect. The right professional designer has the skills to design and draft new space plans, including lighting and electrical layout, interior finishes such as cabinetry, countertops, flooring, plumbing fixtures, appliances and window treatments to name a few. Should your project require a structural engineer, sealed architectural drawings and/or local building permits for inspections, we will work out with our architect team.
  • How do you charge?

    Since each property is uniquely different we will discuss all charges during our consultation phase to assure full transparency.
  • Do you charge for a design consultation?

    We charge an initial consultation fee for our first meeting with our clients. During this fact finding time, we will listen to your personal requirements, analyze the spaces of consideration, and exchange ideas followed by a detailed proposal. Our clients find this discovery time a valuable investment, assuring them of the confidence needed to move forward with their project.

    Home staging is effective because it emphasizes a property's strengths and minimizes its weak points. Our goal is a swift sale for the highest potential selling price
  • How do we work?

    We will arrange a preliminary consultation with the seller and realtor to access the property and determine the areas that need attention. Based on our conversation, we will provide suggestions if minor repairs will enhance your property and recommend whether the rental, purchase or retention of furnishings is advisable. We will determine a budget for staging and determine a timeline to accomplish work.

    We are a member of RESA – Real Estate Staging Association- a nationally accredited association validating our professional expertise.  Not only are we experienced Stagers but we are professional Full-Time Designers giving us knowledge and accessibility to a wide range of resources.

    Virtual Design is using online technology that allows us to provide our Professional Design Services directly to you at a fraction of the cost of our Full Design Services.

    Online vendors are in business to sell their own merchandise. Because we have professional relationships with countless merchants, we can offer an extensive selection of products ensuring a unique and personalized style.
  • What’s the difference between an inspiration concept board and a 3D concept board?

    An inspiration board shows product images for a room using colors and furnishings that reflect your personal preferences. This board can be used as your personal inspirational guideline. A 3D concept board uses images of the actual product personally selected for your space and placing it in a simulated room. All of the packages will come with a list of recommended products with direct links for your shopping convenience.
  • How will you know my style?

    Our easy to answer questionnaire will give us a preliminary glance into what your preferences are. However, we take this further by having a very targeting 30 minute Free Design Call with you. This Virtual conversation will give us all the answers we need to get started on an outstanding transformation for your space.
  • What if I don’t know what my style is?

    No worries. Often our clients have a combination of styles. Our role is to uncover what brings you joy and transform it to your living environment.
  • What if I don’t know how to answer some of the questions?

    If you don’t know how to answer a question, leave it blank. We will be able to address all of your questions when we speak.
  • How do I know what package is right for me?

    During our Free Design Consultation Call we will review your previously completed design questionnaire and we will guide you in selecting the best package that meets your budget and your desires.
  • What if I can’t do Face Time or an online chat?

    No worries. Although a Face Time or online chat offers us a visual perspective of your space, as long as you have a phone to chat on we’re good.
  • What if the product is not available?

    We do our best to confirm availability prior to including product in your designs. However, should a product no longer be available we are happy to suggest an equally stylish product you will love.
  • What are the return policies for products?

    All our vendors will have their own return policies. Since you will be doing your own shopping we suggest you review this prior to purchasing to ensure their policies meet your expectations.
  • What if I’m not happy with the designs?

    All of our packages offer a one-time revision that allows you to communicate your preferences so we can deliver a style that satisfies your sensibilities.
  • Do you offer refunds?

    Our goal is for you to be joyful in your space. Any concerns will be address on a case by case basis.
